    Been AWOL for the past two weeks. It is hunting season and somehow EVERYONE is out shooting at stuff. I prefer to get my food the old fashion way (grocery store... McDonalds). Only downside is I am picking up the slack/extra freight. Upside is I am getting about as many miles as my logbooks can handle. I've been neglecting a side project I was working on for TTR. Apologies to those that were expecting a sequel to my guides with LCVs. They will come out sometime this weekend.

    Some people are so obsessed about seniority and moving up on the board that they would do their best to get whoever is above them fired.

    Some people don't deserve oxygen.

    This is why I don't believe in karma. Because if karma existed there would be nothing but plants and bacteria on this planet.

    Seniority does not seem to be an issue for me. I have pretty straight forward set routes, and two regular days off. I am competing against only one other linedriver who has been with our company for two decades. He is determined to get all the long runs (450-600 miles) while I end up with the short runs (350-420 miles). Does not bother me one bit since I still get paid enough to keep my lights on. I enjoy my 8 hour workdays :)

    Having the worst night ever. Was tasked to pull doubles... Lead box had two flat tyres... I ended up swinging the freight. Two hours after showing up I am finally moving. Thirty minutes into my trip, and I develop a massive airleak. I pulled over on an offramp to figure out what the hell was going on. No leaks from any connections, but instead I discovered that my back box now has two bad tyres as well. I've been sitting here for two hours in the middle of nowhere. My shop just called me back and told me the local tyre mechanic (who is 55 miles away) had problems getting into his shop cause the -25 degree temperature froze up his alarm or something. They told me it would be another hour before he shows up. At least I have heat and enough mobile signal to keep me warm and entertained... But in the meantime everyone is gonna be pissed off at me that I am running over five hours behind after all is said and done. This is one of those nights where I really am considering going back to school or find another line of work. Just yesterday I was broke down for two hours cause my air compressor wasn't filling up my tanks... Now this. FML.
