Knock on wood, Doing Roll off Dumpster Residential Never witnessed a Mailbox grow back..., Can say took out one of those 6x6 in ground fish pond. I think the property owner enjoyed buying those KOI fish few times a year. Directly on a corner of her property, Horribly small residential intersection and nearly impossible not to go onto her lawn. I guess she thought it was funnier putting the pond about 6 inches from the roadway, Instead of a Boulder or nothing at all.

Kudos for not buying a mailbox lol

Yes it was funny watching the tandems roll into the pond, Still cost me $200. Couldn't run, She was on her porch.

Now i think about it, Granny had a nice scam shaking down drivers:biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:

Dunno about them growing back, but I've heard tell that they will run right out in front of you. Or behind you. Or maybe right into the side of your truck! I think they are dangerous and should be outlawed. EVERYBODY WRITE YOUR CONGRESSPERSON!:biggrin_2559:

Not sure how everyone else gets called into work. I don't have a guaranteed start time. They send out text message around 5 AM each day telling us what time to be in. This morning mine said "You got cut off, enjoy your day off".

Time to make something out of a boring situation and catch up on chores. Might even brew that Russian Imperial Stout that I've put off for three weeks. Cheers everyone! Drive safe out there!

I call in or they call me @ 2 hour window of a expected start time. 95% of the time can know when your start time is the next day from the 2nd shift personnel. Drivers work more hours and can see other desk jockeys get a heads up. Not 100% accurate, Other crap comes into play . No matter what, 10 hours off and work 5 days a week.

That sucks having a unscheduled day off. Luckily only been called off maybe around 3 times. Employer shut down a terminal across the border neighbor state and added 11 senior drivers last year. Of course low man on the pole is those 3 times figuring out the details.

How many drivers at your barn RR ?
