@misterG
Note to misterG from boss. Quit whining, I’ve looked at your report and made the following decisions.
Wiper switch faulty (have to fiddle with it to make it start and stop)
Will teach drivers how to fiddle when I have time…
Speedometer works when it wants to.
How I envy it!
Odometer works when it wants to.
Just like certain drivers, huh?
Torn mudflap.
Tore other mudflap so they will match.
Red emergency line from tractor to trailer is stretched out and rubbing on the catwalk, getting pinched between the catwalk and trailer while turning.
Stop turning so sharp.
Wipers are falling apart.
So put ‘em back together and git on down the road!
The air dryer is spitting as many as 10 times before it stops and continues to build air.
If it spits on you, PISS on it!
The registration is 2 months overdue.
Let me know if you get a ticket…
Drive tires are getting to the point of needing to be replaced.
I’m to the point of thinking about replacing drive tires. Next year.
Voltage meter jumps around, then settles down for a few minutes. To begin jumping around again.
Well quit shocking it already! You’d jump too if you got shocked every few minutes.

Thanks Don. That helped.
I try to do as much of the work as I can, but some things I just don't know how to fix.
On a side note, I saw my first weight restriction signs go up today. They are still covered, so far, but that season is right around the corner. -
I know how that goes with Spares some of ours are not the greatest either and you'd think the spare trucks would at least be better then the trucks there replacing but I guess not.
Lucky for me my truck is brand new but that doesn't always matter I tell you what I give GFS credit they don't cheap out on equipment. Our worst truck is a lot of other places best truck. I guess the company just bought 14 new trucks for the warehouse which was good they needed them they didn't have enough tractors. -
Anyone else having some manpower issues? Seems like we can't give our job away. We hired, fired, and people quit like nuts. Our barn is only staffed with 7 people... but in four years we went through 18 people. Pay is $20/hour with OT after eight. Full benefits and the average work day is 10-12 hours. This is 100% local. Our pay is about $55-$57k annually.
I am kinda confused cause we make almost twice as much annually than any other career field in our area.Rocks, Shaggy, speedyk and 1 other person Thank this. -
Not us we've been holding steady at our lot.

Interesting! Seems like I heard something about our economy being in a "slump" right now. Usually, when that happens, people tend to hang onto and guard their jobs more carefully.
