Maybe if you took a vacation you'd have more patience to stay at a customer longer than 15 minutes to straighten out problems.... :)

    Riiiiiiiiiight.....
That route sounds like a newspaper route. That 7 days a week 140 mile round trip would get very, very old. Getting up at 0200 or so and getting out there, fighting Montana winters.....Though I'm honestly surprised they pay that much.:(
Oh yeah, just what ya need.........

Nope. You know what they say about someone else's poor planning. :p

People seriously need to learn to get their crap together when filling out a BOL.

On a different note, today we had yet another idiot take the top off a straight truck on a railroad bridge. Rumor has it was in the place as the last idiot to do that. :banghead:

There is NOTHING left of that body except three walls.

Where do they find these people???

We had someone do that too. Driver with a 25 year safety record gets charged with a preventable after hitting a route approved bridge. Just nicked the front corner of his trailer.

Everyone gets briefed not to use that underpass and two weeks later another drive hits it. He on the other hand didn't say a word to anyone. He got to keep his safety bonus.

    ask my dispatcher

Nah, I didn't wait for them. I left and finished my drops.
Only went back cause it was on the way and I had confirmation from dispatch. It just made sense to do it, instead of having to deal with it another day. I was already running late to make the outbound truck with my pics, so I did the drop and left the rest of the freight for the morning truck.

I like the redundancy of those two signs: one showing a clearance of 11'6", and the other prohibiting vehicles over 11'6"!
