Yesterday I had a smooth day at work besides a hard to handle case of Mahi Mahi. At any rate though bank says they won't loan me any money because I have no credit so I have to go out and rack up some credit card debt and the only way to do that, that I can think of is to buy expensive large, heavy awkward LTL freight and have it delivered to my parents house so I today I am going to find something heavy and awkward to buy and see if Roadrunner and the USF Reddeway team can deliver it to my house I'm thinking a 28'x46" pallet will do the trick and I'm much to cheap to want lift gate delivery and I have no dock or fork lift so it's going to be a real challenge LOL!

Whip out that credit card again and have the local towing company send a rollback.
-
That will change as soon as some knucklehead demands you take their 350 lb bedroom set upstairs.Big Don, Mike2633 and road_runner Thank this.

Try joining a credit union. Far better than any bank. Choose one that belongs to the Co-op Network so that you have access to more ATM's and branches.Big Don, Mike2633, road_runner and 1 other person Thank this.

+1 on Credit Unions. I've had mine for 18 years. They've always been good to me.
Stay away from big mega... Especially Wells Fargo.Bob Dobalina, Big Don and Mike2633 Thank this. -
AMEN to that! I haven't done business with a bank in years. We, (wife and I) do have two different credit unions, in two different states where we have accounts. Just a bit of added insurance there....Bob Dobalina and Mike2633 Thank this.

Found a seriously bent rim during my pre trip last night. It almost looked like a capital D. The lone shop guy decided to beat it back to mostly round with a sledge and call it good, then got mad when I wouldn't pull out of the shop until he signed my DVIR.
Bob Dobalina and Mike2633 Thank this. -
Did he sign it or change the rim/tire??
-
He put a new rim and tire on. Guess it's a different story when you have to take responsibility for your work. Took him about half the time he spent banging the other one.
Gearjammin' Penguin, Big Don, speedyk and 1 other person Thank this. -
At GFS they do tires like NASCAR seriously they have a whole rack of tires on rims they would have taken the old tire and rim off and put a new tire and rim on just like a NASCAR pit crew and we would have been on our way. We for what ever reason go through a lot of tires I don't know what it is, but we have a lot of trailer tire blow outs we had one this week a recap blew out.
