I'm making duck as we speak. I bbq just about every evening before work when I'm at the house. I've been buying my meat online these days but not really digging the taste of grass fed beef. I got it cause it's supposed to be healthier but I really have to dress it up with marinades and other stuff to get rid of that gamy taste. I'm hoping I just get used to it.

I'd love to try triples but they don't allow them anywhere near here. When I first started in freight back in Portland they wouldn't even let me pull a set at the first two places I worked at, so the guys pulling 3 seemed like total bad #####.

At least you guys are lucky and have grocery stores that sell half these ingredients. Remember when I said I lived in a one horse town? Our grocery store (which would fit in three 48 ft trailers parked side by side has no brisket, no duck, not even ground pork. They do carry 30 different types of beer though. The next closest grocery store is half an hour away. That is also the closest town that has a stop light and fast food restaurants.

I BBQ religiously. Unfortunately I have to choose between steaks, ribs, or... nevermind. those are my choices. What makes your "wings" so famous?

I think we all have a few screws loose to do these kinds of jobs!

@roadrunner it's the seasoning I use for the flour, and I oven fry them instead of deep frying, and then I finish them on the grill. Then the hot sauce I have my own recipe.

Before transferring out I worked in South Bend, IN and after five years I would have to be certified to run triples. Part of me wants to give it a try. But then I'd much rather give turnpike doubles a shot.

Gave my 2 week notice from UPSF yesterday. It's just not for me. Re-hired on with ABF. 18 miles round trip to work and a more relaxed work place.
