    Normally I spend all my time doing sales service, but I've weaseled my way into some volume routes now and then, it was right place right time, I said seniority be darned I'll sign up and see what happens most of it was extra runs and stuff, but there were a few people out and the warehouse needed help. I've done pretty much every job normally I do sales service, but I've done volume, chains, internal transfer and transit, right place right time right situation right circumstances the older guys didn't want the stuff and most guys at my yard except for another guy aren't into doing any thing more then they have to which is fine, so I get to do a lot of the specialty work when it comes up now and then.

    However I do hold a normal sales service bid and that's my bread and butter I'm more of a skip day driver but I have express routes on Monday and Friday, my Friday worked out to being pretty sweet I've got 2 Market Places on Friday which is cool, sometimes they even palatize the cooler of the first market place. The middle of the week during the normal year I spend doing schools. Which is cool I like the schools that I have there all pretty cool.

    Man, I'll let you keep the sales service! I enjoy my 4 day work week. I have an 8 stop layover and two 5 stop out and backs.
    I will admit my Thursday is a challenge though. 14 hour minimum day. 430 miles with usually 1200-1300 cases. You talk about one hell of a long night. It's my money night so I suck it up and run the cases.

    If anyone is a gun nut like me, I highly recommend the brand spanking new FN 509. I picked up one a few weeks back and it is amazing in terms of accuracy and ergonomics.

    Is your pay scale the same as ours ? I've heard it's different, but I don't know how. Yeah sales service is tough sometimes though home everyday but out stops aren't as steam lined more screwing around we don't work nights, but we do work early mornings. During the school year on Tuesday depending on the tonnage I'm getting up at 12:45am or 1:00am sometimes.

    As you know that fold down is just the freezer that's not the rest of the stuff for that stop.

    I highly doubt it's the same. We get a hair over 26 cents per case, 25 cents per mile and 4 bucks per stop. I stay in a hotel 10 hours every Monday morning so I get 30 bucks for that, (guys in the hotel longer than 10 hours get 23 bucks an hour for detention) and I also get 20 dollar allowance for my cell phone bill straight to my weekly check. Then of course there's the xata bonus for speed and RPM crap. I only do 18 stops for the whole week. 12 pizza huts, 5 Bob Evans and one God awful BJ'S Brewhouse.

    I'm having trouble figuring out how that front trailer works...does the whole hitch/axle assembly slide, or what?
