That shouldn't be not it today's day and age, if that was said to me I would be blowing up human resources phone and telling them to deal with the problem or my lawer will be involved. On the plus side they would probably give you paid 3 months off and big vacation and a new car, and fire that lead driver and then make you sing a paper promising them, that you won't sue.

I know if anything like that happened where I work people would be gone ,just gone here today gone tomorrow never heard from again.

That happened to me last summer, I was out in your neck of the woods, in Aberdeen, MD another driver was driving my truck which by the way had the original bumper and got in a crash with a Mercedes Benz and when I got back my bumper was bent in half.

Now that's all water over the bridge and the other driver is down at a different yard now, and the company did put a new bumper on my truck, but still I know right? That's how it goes.

He's been doing it to since he was like 18 or something. Said the company was different back then. Well he said UPS was always UPS, but times have changed and management went from bad to worse.

I don't WANT a new bumper on mine. That's my badge of honor.

It better not be replaced until it's ready to fall off.

Mine was bent in half and the company decided they couldn't have a truck with a bumper like that, because it looks bad. The Volvo's have some paint defect in the bumpers bad batch of paint I guess and our bumpers all get rotted and pitted and rusted out and arbitrarily when they start to look bad enough they will replace the bumpers. One of our drivers has had 3 new bumpers on his truck, because his bumpers rotted out.

On a positive note, I am looking at buying a Les Baer 1911. $1850 pistol... But no sales taxes in Montana. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Rotted out is one thing. Bending in into a "U" because a driver is an idiot is quite another.

    RR, first and always.
Take care of yourself. You do what you need to, to do what is best for you and your wife.

Then think about what is best for your employer. They always come second.

Its a joke between me and my boss. He knows I can drop his company like a stone and work for anyone I want to. Because my wife is an RN. Who make literally double what I do. I do the job because I like it, and am a little masochistic. But I also like the people I work for. So that makes it easier.
But I will ALWAYS do what is right by my FAMILY first.

The drivers that got back to the terminal hours before are the ones that always have an excuse as to why they cannot do more pickups cuz they wanna go home early. They get the least amount of hours yet ##### and moan how they are not making enough money.
