Random LTL Rants (all are welcomed)

Congratulations! OD use to run me the same way on a 300 mile peddle run. If my run didn't have more than 13 deliveries in the morning, they'd add other stops on so I'd always leave with atleast 17 and then have 10 sometimes more pickups. After 10 years I burnt out hard after a bad day at a customer and filled out an app. for Walmart. May not be the greatest job, but my body doesn't ache, my heart beats normal again and there's virtually no stress at all.

 

Congrats! Do VA benifits extend to your wife? Or is there even a VA hospital near you? Treasure these next few years. They will fly by! Mine little one just graduated college ! You step back and wonder how did that happen so quickly. 23 in two weeks .
Going in a few mins to get a new eye exam. Surgery changed that eye's vision , big time. Hoping new glasses help with the headaches? Find out in about a week, usually takes that long to get mine made.

So I got up at 2:20am today good practice for the start of school here in a month or so. Day actually went pretty good I got done at a decent time and bit the bullet and went and got fuel.

Some of you probably saw it one of our trucks from Tennessee was in a real bad very bad accident last Thursday night in Kentucky. The details are very unclear, but they haven't pressed any charges yet and the Kentucky State Police haven't said who's fault the accident was one way or another it's been leaning towards more of a freak thing, someone probably could have very likely cut someone off and caused a big problem who the heck knows, but it's pretty bad place.

Lately at our yard we've had some tire trouble, one guy today crossed his airlines and managed to blow out two tires today. Another trailer had a flat tire last Friday and it never got reported so it could get fixed. Our tire issues seem to be one of those things that come and go.

 

I tell you what you guys need some help next year when I have vacation time I'll come up and work for Reddaway for a week to help alleviate the stress. Your manager can just pay me cash under the table everyday.

 

#### right. Just because the office rat and the dock morons won't do their jobs right is not reason enough for us drivers to stress out. I used to get all pissed off when the same thing happens.to me, now I just say #### it.
