Thanks for contributing. If anyone else wants to send me some, please ping me in PM. You don't even have to put a return address on the envelope, I've gotten two stickers from anonymous TTR members

I got the same issue at my barn. The harder I work, the more crap they put on me. I am literally the last truck in every single day. I lost it two weeks ago. My "give a #### meter" is officially on empty. Not gonna do five stops an hour anymore. Make everyone else pick up their weight.

I gently pushed my hand into my pocket and pulled the last one out, it trembled at first and clung to my hand. "Go on, it will be okay," I whispered. Encouraged, it flexed its wings and I knew the time was right. It flew up towards the blue, blue sky and I looked proudly as it made its way to freedom. The last of my f#### was finally given.

:angel8: And there it is, flying away...

See, now you're getting the picture. I admire your work ethic, bro--it matches mine. But it's not right to enable slackers to keep being slackers. Why stress yourself when it's obvious that nobody cares?

(BTW, you can freakin' write when you put your mind to it. Maybe you should write a book. A guy I know just got published and it's blowing up Amazon like nobody's business.)

I work for a snack food conglomerate, that happens to haul a lot of their product themselves. The difference between private fleet operations and general for-hire carriers is very noticeable, especially from the inside.

Yay. We are short handed again and I have a delivery for a restaurant that needs a 28' lift gate. I am pulling a 53' today. And my first delivery to a big box DC was refused since no one called to get a delivery number. Oh well

I might be able to get some pros from some other 11 Western states smaller LTLs from one of my regular pickups and from some small outfit my company hands some out of area stuff to.

After I was done I had to go do 4 pickups an hour away in some other yin yang's area. If that wasn't bad enough, the knucklehead in the office has the nerve to tell me "so&so broke down with 3 stops left".

    "...And???"

"Can you go get those and deliver them"?

That made me more than a little mad.

Thankfully another driver got to him a long time before I could have, so all I had to do was grab one of his pickups, and I STILL punched out 5 minutes shy of going into a logbook. :banghead:
