Not your fault. It's the fault of the knuckleheads at night coming in with defective equipment and not doing a post trip.

If someone tries to hold me responsible for damage from baseball sized hailstones, I'm going to get a baseball BAT and use them to aim a few line drives at the schmuck in question.

What? the beatings aren't improving morale?

Seriously, I bet it happens. The last 3 weeks have just been a ####storm of badnews (oh, i bet i can't say that word. umm a sandstorm of bad news)

I think i'm going to bring in a copy of one days posting of ads for drivers on CL and just post it in dispatch. quit futzing with us or we're all leaving.

Heck I left early last night. Here, let's waste half your night and then send you back to someplace that's a total CF and now you can fight traffic because it will be late.
    nah, i'm out

    see ya.

    I want a raise

I get a call telling me what tonights run will be. Say be at the yard at 9pm, trailer closes the door at 9:30

Ummm, are you sure? cuz i've done this run before and it's always left at 9pm (meaning be at the yard at 8).

For the 3rd time, the dispatcher checks the screen. Oh, you're right, it closes at 8;30 and leaves at 9.

    FFS

it's a meet (relay) run so you have to leave on time.

If I have to drive the truck and do the dispatching, I want a raise.

See if any of those guys want a side job ... If they can hit ants with a 22 they would be good.

This is not related to anything. But a friend of a friend took this picture of one of our wildfires we are dealing with. It's kinda awesome but kinda eerie.

Nice looking trailers, aren't they? They come from the Wabash plant in Lafayette, IN so all the new trailers cycle through the Indy yard. I had a picture of a bunch all sitting together in a row but it was dark and didn't turn out well.
