havent heard from them yet. At this point I don't care anymore. I really want to quit out of principal. I don't mind these 12-14 hours days anymore. But them disrespecting me like this was the final straw. I got other options. But the health care sucks compared to my current company. But at some point you gotta count your losses... which is right now... I get the best insurance for my family... but I don't get any time off to use it.

(1) get a lawyer, there's something called FMLA that most likely applies in this instance
(2) sit back and laugh as the yard completely implodes due to the absolute incompetence of management
(3) apply with whatever company takes over their area. It shouldn't take long at this rate.street beater and Mike2633 Thank this. -
And we all know #### well that if a manager or supervisor has a pregnant wife they would be taking all kinds of days off to take their wives to appointments and such.

the response it "hey, I told you I'm not coming in so you could easily cover it and make plans for it"

BTW, F your management, send a note to HR and say I need this day off

Lucky me. Had a delivery up the freeway today past the weigh station that is never open. On my way back into town what do I see? "Weigh station open". I am driving a rental truck today since the regular one is still in the shop. As I am driving through I get the signal to come on over for inspection. #### me! They checked my license,BOL,registration for the rental with DOT number for the company, and trailer registration. The mechanic checked my lights, horn, and crawled underneath to check the brakes. After sitting there for 15 minutes the po-po gives me my documents back along with an inspection print out "no violations"! I need to buy some Powerball tickets I am not usually this lucky.
