Alright everyone have fun I'm off to work on the night shift headed down to West Virginia. Working in Chain Division for the next couple days. 3 weeks in a row on the road now.

Priceless!!! Likely you'll never hear a peep, unless this bright spark of humanity is really going to file a complaint for you fixing HIS stupid screwup. That would be some real special kind of stupid, and would cause some real amusement in management, quite a few places I've worked.

I fix that particular problem by carrying a spare key on a separate keyring in another pocket, specifically for that kind of emergency. Saved myself some embarrassment several times that way.

Exactly what in the hell constitutes any sort of "big deal line driver"? :laughing-guffaw:

Let's see the "big deal line driver" swap places with @road_runner and see how long he lasts.

His skill at negotiating the area shaded by desks and tables belonging to management, most likely.

Kinda some backstory on SLC. It is a mega trucking hub for the west. Hundreds of carriers and dozens of schools operate out of there. Anyone that lasts more than 10 years at one ltl company is given "god status". Our company VP is based out of there cause SLC is a mega terminal.

Depending on this driver's volume of sand in his ManGina, he may have enough reason to get me canned.

Why am I so confident? They can't fire me. Who are they going to replace me with? We are back up to 66% manning. Who the crap are they going to replace me with? And what grounds? Douchebag driver got bored in his hotel room while a P&D driver was buried in freight and didn't have time to unlock his cab?

That specific linedriver screwed me more than a few times. I had no problem letting him sit for a bit to remind him to pack an extra set of truck keys in his personal layover bag

Best part was they don't get paid detention until 4 hours after their 10. I got to him around the 12 hour mark
