It’s a lovely morning at GFS in Aberdeen! @Mike2633, when are you coming east to visit again?

    G13Tomcat and Mike2633 Thank this.

Wow... My back is sore from last night's deliveries. To add insult to injury, they are making me do tires today.

Think I am going to take a knee when I get to the customer to protest this blatant Injustice.

misterG, MACK E-6, Ristow and 4 others Thank this.

That'd be us. I don't know my own division is in such dire straights that I can't even get out of Imperial Division. We had another guy go to the warehouse to work for today. I've done more then "my fair share" of helping according to my boss someone else can have a turn.

I'm sure Aberdeen needs help you should have probably hopped in that tractor and hooked up to a trailer, I'm sure there management would have said "Hold on let us get you a hand held and your paper work."

JPenn, Cardfan89 and G13Tomcat Thank this.

Just say "wake me when you're done", climb in your cab and take a nap. ;)

You like those heavy triggers on those Hi-Powers?

Ok, rant thread time. Where does it make sense to order 60 cases of an item, then place them 6x1 on a pallet?! 10 pallets for 60 cases of chips is downright unreasonable. Multiply that across an entire order (albeit a small one at 256 cases) and you have a recipe for some real frustration.

GFS Aberdeen, please fire or retrain whoever it is you hired away from Sysco!

    Mike2633 and G13Tomcat Thank this.

The last one I had my hands on didn’t seem that heavy. Maybe 7 lb? It was 20 years ago though, and by way of clarification, I was a sheet metal fabricator and had the grip strength to go with that job. I’m not there any more, but I still love the gun and really want a slicked up custom one from someone like Nighthawk.

Last one I fingered was more like 12.

    Might've been an anomaly though...

Not sure if anyone is fsmiler with Murdoch's Home and Ranch... But one of ours carried a High-Point. Last shelf at the bottom, tucked behind another pistol. Didn't have a price tag or anything. They wanted $125 for it.

A Hi-point and a Hi-Power are two VERY different animals, my friend. I'd jump on a Hi-power for that price. ;)
