My company is falling apart. We are losing yet another driver tomorrow. Then next month, another is slated to throw in the hat.
We are now down to three employees at our barn after today. We are supposed to have seven. That right, seven. Our TMs response is a nonchalant "you guys are just going to have to make it work".
I had a death in the family, we are so busy they won't even allow me to go to the funeral. "You can visit the gravesite on your own time. Not like your grandma is going anywhere".

One man can only only do so much. I wouldn’t worry about it.
Make sure you’re laughing too when you have to ask them whether or not they want you to have 5 returns or miss 5 pickups.
Most places want to push the “immediate familiy” issue on things like this, which usually rules out grandparents. That sucks, I know, especially if one was raised by their grandparents.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Yeah. That what it came down to. It was a grandparent. I wasn't super close but they still could have more tact than that.
I hate to think on terms like this... But maybe she will leave me enough behind so I can quit this job and move on.misterG, sdaniel, G13Tomcat and 1 other person Thank this. -
