That's exactly what I was thinking when I read his post.

Virtually all trucks at Reddaway have electrical tape on the dash to cover all the fault lights . Why spend money to fix the problem when a small square of electrical tape resolves it?

    misterG and Mike2633 Thank this.

This is from a shuttle driver that says he can't handle lights at night but it's also covering a check engine light lol.

So does Toys R Us going under affect freight levels at any of your LTL terminals?

You sure we don't work for the same company? Seems about half the trucks at my company do as well. Boss "knows what the problem is", but won't fix them.

Given the situation with warning lights, I'd say Toys R Us supplies LTL terminals.

I think the closest Toys R Us is about 3 hours south of me. I've never seen a load for them come through our dock.

Not that I've seen in for us Columbus, although I do know they have a distribution center in town. I used to deliver candy to their distribution center in Youngstown for my last job doing refrigerated LTL. It closed down a few years ago, which made sense to me. Their processes for receiving and such were so antiquated, it felt like I was going back in time when I went there. Their trailers were also getting more and more raggedy over time, which is never a good sign.

    Cardfan89 and Mike2633 Thank this.
