I've heard they pay well for city work, but less than most others on linehaul. Are you trying to do P&D? Can't you switch boards and do P&D where you work? It would depend on where you work now whether they'd be a good choice or not.

No p&d isn’t for me at all tried it and hated it I just figured that they would be better than fedex which is another option for me but I really don’t want to work a dock all night long for the next couple of years till I get some decent seniority

Where do you work now? What's wrong at your place?

I have a new policy, as of today.

When I have a huge load--like, say, totally hypothetically, 7000# of flooring on long pallets which are only forklift friendly, going to a place that has neither a forklift or a dock--someone in charge needs to get up in the trailer, inspect the freight and sign for it before it moves an inch. Once it hits the ground, no backsies, it's yours.

Because moving all that stuff by hand, twice, really sucks the high hard one. And I will never have bamboo flooring in my house, because I won't put another driver through that crap.

Sounds like you just had one get refused because it was the wrong color.

City driver crying because I’ve been taking “his” tractor at night since my assigned tractor is in the shop. Was joking around with my boss about it and he said he must think this is “drivers last name” ##### freight lol. I even keep it cleaner than he does.

Not trying to bash you city guys! I envy you with this awesome weather.
