    MTS should stick to moving furniture !
    NPT is the only carrier I know of who services all of Wyoming daily.

    MTS Freight does do alot of freight that most LTL guys wouldn't want to mess with. Large portions of it are HHGs that are oversized or awkward. Anything from threadmills, weight benches, and mattresses. I don't know if any of it is inside delivery... I was just happy we didn't pick up that kind of junk.

    We don’t a terminal anywhere in MT, so we use NPT too.

    So Mergenthaler is NO longer a United Van Lines agent in Montanna ?
    I am beginning to think we are not talking about the same carrier here ??

    This was a big story several years back. Schneider bought up Watkins Sheppard (based out of Missoula MT) to act as their final mile carrier. WS runs all 48 states and has terminals in several dozen states.

    And they don’t have smaller trucks to do that with?

    No sir. Our inside joke was that each delivery comes with a free replacement mailbox. WS specializes in LTL furniture.

    We were curious how this would pan out for residential deliveries. I.E. if they would get liftgate equipment

    I saw a Watkins Sheppard Straight truck with Schneider markings all over it about 2 Fridays ago.

    Well everyone I'm back full time here on this side I ended my other thread in the social forum and retired from miscellaneous writing and will be back to talking about plain old truck stuff.
