Looks like you guys had as much fun as I did last night. The worst part was that I drove out of it on my way to my meet point, but I couldn't enjoy the nice dry roads and starlit sky because I knew what was waiting for me on the way back.
Bob Dobalina and speedyk Thank this. -
Anybody in here work out of Estes in Scranton PA?

Got screwed really good tonight.
Double stacking stuff left and right and out of sequence ruined my day.
Oh, and I drive 45mins into a private island to have to tell a customer I can't accept his pick up. Dude wanted to give me like cellular towers unprotected just banded to a pallet. -
Fun day. The flooring was so heavy it cracked the pallet, or the guys smashed the crap out of it when loading. I put the blue pallet to save it - I had to lean against the trailer and kick with my feet to push it back on.
Leg pressing 3,000 pounds totally gonna feel that 10years from now.
Love the box of steel rods with holes on each end.Attached Files:
misterG, MACK E-6 and Fuelinmyveins Thank this. -

All of our drivers were coming back to the yard due to the snow last. I missed 2 deliveries and and a swap. From where I was it usually takes no more than 45 minutes to get back. Last night night it almost took me 3 hours. Some city drivers got stuck somewhere and ran out of hours. All night runs were cancelled as well.
I've seen some yard jockeys getting stuck in the yard until they started to plow lol
It's still snowing and everyone is on call so I don't know...Gearjammin' Penguin, Shaggy, Cardfan89 and 2 others Thank this. -
I'm sure the customers were happy to see their freight in this conditionmisterG Thanks this. -

I don't know why but most residential stuff is something in the crate, long pallet and at least 2000lbs
Like this for example... crates with sheet metal inside. It took a little over 1 hour to unload last week.
Or this one. Yup all that stuff behind had to be hand unloaded as well
Gearjammin' Penguin Thanks this. -
I feel like I'm slowly learning the language but getting no closer to finding what I need. I think you guys are great, and that you move the world competently and safely! But you sure are a hard community to brain pick! Thanks for letting me rant! Lol
misterG, Bob Dobalina and Fuelinmyveins Thank this.
