Happy Thanksgiving

What is everyone Thankful for?
I'll go first. I'm thankful that I live in an age and time and place where a legitimate problem is that there was another truck in my way when I went to deliver chicken wings and french fries to the pizza and beer place. Which means I think I got it pretty good for someone who doesn't have any real problems.

 

I'm Thankful that my family is home and healthy.

 

That's right. Happy Thanksgiving folks

 

Ohhh another fun filled day at work tomorrow on Saturday. This having Thursday off kind of blows it's like you have one day off and have to pay for it with 2 days on and then it's kind of like you lose all you're momentum for the week. Although tomorrows not super heavy, but it's how it goes.

 

Work on Saturday? Yikes


I went today for the hell of it. Only worked for 5 hours on the dock. Holiday pay plus overtime pay, it was hard to say no.

Tomorrow I gotta go pick up my season pass for sking and then shop around for some skis. Paying $40 for rentals each time is getting old.

 

Today I guess is Friday, sure doesn’t feel like it. It’s almost like it isn’t a day lol!

 

Four day weekend gang gang

 

Thursday is my scheduled day off but then I have a 230 am start time Friday so I cant do a whole lot Thursday it isnt the most fun but I also have Saturday and Sunday off so I guess I shouldn't complain lol

 

This was my first holiday doing foodservice and I can’t believe how easy my routes were this week. I don’t know if that’s how it goes or if I just got lucky, but I’ll take it.

My heaviest day was Wednesday with 1000 pieces, but I had two big stops that took a big chunk of it and ended up finishing in 10 hours. Friday is normally my worst day but this week I only had 500 cases. My route didn’t even include a lunch break, though I did end up having to take one because I kept getting to stops before any workers were there.
