I had an alright day at work I guess. I tell you what the sun was out today and it was low in the sky, made it seem a lot later in the day then it was.
Had a sensor go bad on the truck today that was fun had to screw around for 10-15minutes to get the truck to work again, then I just limped the truck along for the rest of the day.
Got home had a weeks worth of yard work to do 72 gallons of leaves to mechanically pick up.
I think some gunk made it through the air filter and into my leaf vacuum's carb because now the things not running right. I'll take it to the lawn mower shop and have them fix it, because I had them put a new prime and choke on a couple months ago so there familiar that's about it. -
It annoys me when they give me two runs and then the first running effects my "normal" run because I didn't finish the first one until noon. It just makes me behind all week long, and I ain't doing no more residential when the sun's down.
All this being said with all these extra hours I'm taking home an extra 150-250 bucks the past few weeks -

What a day, what a day.... before lunch, I unloaded 2 pups and then helped another dockworker with his stuff. I'm thinking today seem to be pretty decent day on the dock. Right after lunch they had 2 runs to Newburgh and 1 rail to North Bergen in NJ. I'm thinking I only have few hours left, so I'll just stay on the dock and then leave. It can't be that bad... Boy did I screw myself over for turning all those runs down
Right after lunch I open the door to my new trailer and I see this. There was more pallets behind upside down or on it's side.
then at the end I get 14 skids of USPS mail that needed reweigh and dimensions.... What a wonderful day
lesson learned, never turn any run down. NEVER!LoneCowboy, Mike2633, MACK E-6 and 2 others Thank this. -
