Also they pay a 50k life insurance policy the beer company paid 10k also they pay short term disability insurance where we had to buy it with beer... but the beer company was only 75ish employees next to 22000 at my new employer

 

Cooper does that too. If I die my wife gets 50k. I don't get sick time, but if I'm injuried out of work or while working I get like two weeks worth of pay.

I wish we had sick pay, but instead there sick time policy is more like a short term disability. You have to miss like 10 days of continuous work to get anything so essentially there's no sick pay.

I guess being at top rate within a year balances out not having sick pay.

 

Icey dangerous roads here this morning having to take it extra slow.

 

Yeah, last night was concerning with the freezing drizzle but the Buckeye did a real good job on the main roads.

I don't envy you dealing with customer lots and side streets, though.

 

I had to salt the side walk at my first stop, because it was so icey and windy. The main roads were pretty good.

My first stop is across the street from ODoTs Cuyahoga County Snow Plow terminal and all morning I watched the snow plows go in and out of there with loads of salt.

 

When I pulled out of my driveway this morning the road was a sheet of ice!

 

Just ordered some tile for a bathroom remodel.
