    Broken down now since 9:50ish. Tow truck dropping drive shaft now hopefully my route doesn't have like 25+ stops. Was doing a 4 stop bulk route l, but didn't turn out so well starter crapped out.

    My fun last night. That 25mph turn was on a 7-8% downgrade. I was coming down the mountain. **Disclaimer head strapped go pro** lol.

    @Radman

    Oh man, you are doing some real trucking if your throwing chains! I don’t miss that at all. Used to drive thru Wyoming, Utah, Oregon, and Denver. It’s a great drive until the snow flies! I was going through Oregon one winter and kept busting these old chains I had then I got a flat. I was soo close to saying F-it when I got to Portland and almost flew home and quit lol. Enjoy your scenic drive my friend when it’s nice! I sure do miss grabbing gears going up and down the mountains. Nothing but boring Midwest flat land for me now.

    misterG, Radman and Mike2633 Thank this.

    I’d give for flat land boring after doing this for the last decade. During the spring and summer is great but it’s only acouple months of good driving. Can’t wait to build some seniority and get a wakeeney Kansas meet turn,

    This year has been a learning experience. Been driving for 13 years my first year driving a single axle in the snow and mountains. I do miss a twinscrew. But single axles aren’t too bad just a dust of snow on the road and it can’t get up the hill. Lol.

    Single screws suck royally in the winter time.

    Everytime they give me a single axle it messes up my backing they get away from you just a second to fast.

    At least when it's a Volvo. I typically drive a dual axle Volvo, but they gave me a single axle cascadia brand new(rental) and it can't turn for crap. I think I'm a Volvo fan boy; you can just do so much with Volvos' in comparison to everyone else that ive driven all turn like crap.

    I like our Volvo's too, I've driven a couple rental Cascadia's and I prefer the Volvo over the Cascadia.
