Any LTL companies beside RL Carriers that run teams?

Doesn't Saia have driver facing cameras? What else makes them unfavorable? They got a barn down the road from me and I was curious if I needed more good reason to avoid them.

Quick question. I am gonna do my fingerprints this Friday for my hazmat. My plan is to go back to LTL. I live about 90 minutes from Charleston SC.

Do you guys think it is worth it for me to cough up the extra $60 and get a TWIC? Do LTL carriers even require those for barns near the coast? Is it worth having a TWIC?

Only a few dollars extra ? If not too much extra get it , having a extra tool in the toolbox can not hurt .

Do I think $12/yr is worth having a TWIC credential? Absolutely. Regardless of using it or not for employment, it’s an excellent form of secondary ID to have if requested somewhere and you never know when the cushy LTL job goes to the crapper.

Also, depending on who your barn delivers to, you may have better runs if you have a TWIC and your co workers don’t. IE: delivering to a port, airport etc.

Well, there’s the cameras, and also you won’t want to work there if you’re a smoker and run a CB in your truck. They frown on both.

misterG, road_runner and 062 Thank this.
