Good point - my experience is coming from a somewhat FIRST world nation.

Consider the possibility that a guy in a third world country could see this as an opportunity - at 10X the income potential.

If trucking paid - inflation adjusted dollars - what it did 20, heck, 30 years ago, there would be a line around the block to sign up.

 

I did - recognize what was happening, but it took many years.

Now I’m a legal immigrant, surrounded by other immigrants dragging the industry down, by folks like myself, initially - looking for better opportunities.

Don’t think I don’t wake up every morning considering that fact.
