Yeah, I'd pass on USA.
Take major heed of the comments on recruiters.
Nice to hear we can be viewed as a civil helpful online community!

I'd say yes to USA Truck. Im with them now and like it. They keep ya running. Only pay attention to reviews from drivers, good or bad, that haven driven for them. Half the steering wheel holders on here never have but because a friend of a friend who heard from a driver at the lunch counter of the TA 20 years ago said its a bad company think its gives them the knowledge to come on here and spew trash that ain't true. Yes USA truck has its issues but so do other companies. Keep an open mind. Do your research and make best decision for you. Don't like Johnny Supertrucker make it for you. Good luck in your search.
Stuka and blairandgretchen Thank this. -

Tell a new company that your old company was "Not a good fit for you". Nothing else. If they probe, tell them that those issues are behind you and you wish the old company well, period. That should end the conversation.
Let me give you a what if. Let's say you worked for Swift. You hated Swift. You call a new company Central Refrigerated. They hire you but during the process you really slam Swift. Guess what, now you are once again working for Swift. Words once they leave can't be easily recalled.
Always make your life easier by keeping your mouth shut. I remember hearing women gossip. In fact, I had 39 men tell me that. I began to believe that it isn't women but men who gossip. Listen at work. Do not speak.billder99, Lux Prometheus and Toomanybikes Thank this. -
You know, I hear prime has a very nice training program and I talk to a lot of older gentlemen who really like the atmosphere of prime. If you would like a smaller, homier feeling company, try RBX out of Springfield mo. Those guys load at Bloomfield mo all the time with me and they are happy as a lark.
I want to apologize for my generations actions towards you. It seems my ages people and younger have no regard for anything but #1. Its going to be a rough world as my generation and the next take over. Either way, good luck driver! -
What did you say sonny? Speak up now? I maybe old but I ain't deaf.
