    Hello! just finished school last week. Now looking for good trucking companies that hire Student Grads. Live in Albany Georgia, looking for long haul. Not to concerned about home time. Children all adults now. There are soooo many companies out there! Not sure where to start! Put in apps for Prime Inc, Werner Enterprises, Navajo Express, U.S. Express, CCC Transportation, KLLM, Crete, and Conway. What's good for a new woman trucker?

    Navajo,forget them.One of their trainers dumped a student off on a mountain pass not too long ago in Washington 11 at night in the freezing cold.She lives in Denver.Navajo didn't pay for a room that night which by the way was 18 miles from where trainer dumped her.An officer took her to that town and Navajo wouldn't pay for her way home.Werner as a long haul driver,you will not get the miles and spend a majority of your time out in the Northeast.You'll deliver to cities you absolutely hate..The bigger the company the more youre going to hate it.Crete suppose to be good,havent heard too many complaints about usexpress.

    Thanks PattyJ. I appreciate your honesty and advice. It's hard to believe what the recruiters are saying most of the time. I have accepted the fact that my first year won't be a walk in the park. It was already a battle at the school for some men to take me serious until I advanced before a lot of em. I want a serious career in trucking. I'll continue to look and do research.
