Reefer requirements to consider when buying used

Im looking to buy a used reefer trailer and dont want to get one that doesnt qualify for certain loads... the only thing i know so far is to get AIR ride suspension and swing doors. Is there a year i should stay above, a preferred motor type and should i consider temp tracker or put on aftermarket? any advice is appreciated. what is a fair amount of hours?? thanks
