Very interesting idea, if you do pull the trigger on this, I hope you come back here and let us know how it's working.
Pac-Lease should be very reliable, if it's still owned by Paccar. Hope you can find the freight to fund it.

Starting out and you want to give away $48,000 on an unknown 2012 rental truck. Hell of a plan.

I rented our trucks (up to six at one time). They were always full-service rentals; first from IdeaLease (International) and then PacLease (Kenworth). I recently posted about it in this thread. I have posted about it a few times.
I can give you more detail if you want.Last edited: Feb 27, 2017

Want to lease to a carrier. Here is a good example. READ CAREFULLY!!
This is from Bennett Motor Frieght
- Your Tractor – will be inspected
- Your Trailer – IF your own trailer, will be inspected
- Proof of insurance if you are using your own coverage
- Securement Equipment – all equipment must be present for inspection
- Clear copy of your tractor title and registration
- Clear copy of your trailer title and registration if pulling your own trailer
- Clear copy of your paid form 2290 (Heavy Highway Use Tax)
- Your valid commercial drivers license
- Medical card & long form physical
- TWIC card and/or Passport if you have one
- Bank/checking account information for direct deposit setup
- Emergency contact information – names, addresses, phone numbers
Hope this helps -

Also there are IFTA issues.
I can make this simple.
Its either you have full rights to the truck or not!! Its is YES or NO. You either have a title to show the carrier or you do not (even if it has a lien holder) I cant make it sound any clearer my friend. No games! You have it or you dont!
This is the way many of the legit O/O carriers will put it to you. These carriers will show pretend O/O fleece purchase drivers the door.
Many pretend O/O fleece purchase drivers dont like this answer....but its the truth. Sorry if I ruined some of your imaginary O/O Fantasy World.
