The company I drive for has a bunch of 2019 Freightliners, they maintain them very well. They sell them at 650,000 miles.600,000 on my truck,it still runs great.DD 13 though, could use more hp.

If you know the rest of the truck is good - just replace engine , ... Or just buy new

Is there any available new trucks in stock? With Internationals, right now if a customer orders one, won't see it unit 2025. Navistar wasn't even taking orders for a while there.

Maybe call another besides dealer ship, one guy saved me 15k on rebuild of a Cummins.
It’s a 10 model with 1.170k (almost 90k on rebuild with no issues)

Or a used engine? There is a local guy here that has been working on Freightliner Detroit's for years. He can build a 60 as well as anyone. He quite on those DD's. Buys engines out of wrecks and swaps them out any more. With in four days that truck is making money again.

Yeah in the current market the resale on that truck is basically scrap .
However if the rest is in good shape I'd put a used engine in it and keep it till the wheels fall off .
