Here's just a small piece of advice. Report equipment issues. Most companies will just send someone out to fix the issue if it's drop and hook.
The company I do power only for has a shop 9 miles away! Anytime all we have to do is call break down and let them know what's going on. They send people out when it's just a light or even if it just needs a DOT inspection.
Dropping equipment that's not DOT legal causes everyone issues.. Here's the most recent one left the house to grab my trailer and bam side rail is cracked..now I'm at the mercy of the DC waiting on it to be reloaded and possibly putting my delivery at risk of being late.![]()
Report equipment problems!

Good show, driver, that's a bad spot, a bottom rail damaged. Not sure you are looking for any recognition, but shows, we still have some great drivers.
For the record, in a drop and hook situation, that may have happened after it was dropped.
Kyle G. Thanks this. -
Looks like 4 newer bolts near the damage compared to the others maybe someone put a bandaide on it

Kyle G. Thanks this.

Who ever repaired it should have run a bead the length of the crack.
-
They should have put a plated that rail for a proper repair
