Come back if you take the job!!!! Would live more info unless I’m there before you. My trainer from Schneider is a Walmart Driver now for 4 years so he’s insisting I apply directly to Walmart but USXPress has a better sign on/direct offer so I’ll be deciding which route to go soon

@CT-Driver860 , I’ve HEARD driving directly for Walmart kind of sucks, but no personal experience obviously. TMC is running my employers at the moment, so fingers crossed there, will check back when I know a bit more.

Best of luck Driver !! You chose a great career

And yea he said I can do 5/2 or 6/3 (those are the working days on and off) meanwhile USX was home daily but I need a company with consistent work and great benefits since I’ve gotten out here Walmart was at the top of my list for there respect and consistency, overall how they treat drivers ! Only other option would be to run on my own

I only live a few miles from the DC so I don’t have to come in, but occasionally I come in just to bug the office personnel and push them to get me s load. And no we aren’t paid for waiting 12 hours either, we aren’t even paid any to wait at the stores either. For example if I get a load and one of the stops is a Neighborhood Market, which closes at midnight, and I get their at 2300 hours they won’t unload me until after 4AM, I don’t get paid any detention. And they hardly ever call me to tell me I have a load assignment. I have to call them and they usually tell me that that Walmart hasn’t realeased the routes yet which I know is ########.

I don’t see how the lease purchase drivers make it on this account. I’ve seen many drivers leave the account or quit since I’ve been here when they got the account in April. And the $1400 a week advertisement on their recruitment page is a scam. By the way I only got a $5000 bonus(paid out over 3 years) when I was hired, now it’s $10,000 with $5000 paid out in the first six months. I really got screwed by them. Already browsing for new employment. Can’t really decide who to go with. Also really considering leasing a power unit. Any suggestions?

Alright I just have to assume something went wrong (who did u piss off!?) or are you just not stern enough? Have you ever threatened to leave??? one thing I learned out here is if you take it once they’ll run u over, if you stand up they think about trying u and if you just come off not taking any #### they won’t ever and that’s life as well.

I say that because I had a few drivers reach out and yes it seems those who are there have it bad the new ones coming are getting what was advertised or more. Had a LP guy reach out he had good input should me routes but no stubs I don’t know how they make it either because he said he is home everyday. So not to take away from what you’re going through there.

But honestly, I wish I could redo things or at least have kept my truck but Schneider lease was great for me. On average, 4-4500 gross was what I lived off because I chose to vacation every week. (Had some 5K or tad more weeks can show settlements and didn’t run hard just smart) Money can be made if you don’t mind running (at least 8-10 days) or if you live in a good area there are guys grossing 5K and do not mind helping you! I just refuse to work more than I did as a company driver, price to pay when you have a $1000 truck note on your back every week. Sadly I wish for anyone to jump into that when they start because their you can live out the truck I did that my first 2 years and would’ve been nice if that paid off then but to have a home, cars and spouse now and trying to lease a truck wasn’t too bright I can only imagine people with that plus kids!
But I hear runnning the southwest or Midwest area is high pay and home weekly!! Or more (the guys in the Facebook group do not lie and freely post settlements and most have their messenger on for advice)

But yea SNI was a good lease and pick where you want to go and money to be made! And new truck why not plus you worked their already I’m surprised you didn’t jump on board doesn’t kill you to try!

If not, and if you have the record (cleanin driving) why not apply directly at Walmart? Seems like you enjoy it why not get the respect, you put your work in for 2 companies already working for them I’m sure they know you’re face there!! What home time are you looking for... so going back to SNI wouldn’t be a good fit for you?

Here’s the deal why I don’t get many loads I mainly run meat produce load will go out at night they do this because I’m a better driver than most of the ones they have there some of them just don’t give a #### and can’t get there load on time to make the LOS times and a lot of times there late I’m never late I’m always early. And since i drive day cab and there are not many loads going out at night besides other next day dry load which go early in the morning‘s or usually don’t have the hours in a day cab to do many second load unless short ones. I have practically begged to get a sleeper but to no avail I just get a cold shoulder and pretty much get ignored. I got to say u usually average probably 1000 miles maybe less than that a week and with Schneider I used to average here between 2500 to 3000 miles a week that’s the difference.

Sounds to me like you’re actually doing them a favor... if your the nightly go to guy!! Wish the miles or equipment compensated your for that....

But that’s how it was for me with SNI I would get 1000 miles with them or less on Walmart

There isn’t anyone else you can ask like calling your recruiter again? hell even to ask them if there are better opportunities in this area before you leave the company.... or tell your DBL or whoever you deal with that.....

Best of luck to ya... I’d look at your needs home time etc and recheck what SNI has or what else USX offers if you need the money if not maybe things would get better but that’s only based on you making a move or putting your foot down somewhere.

Run away! I was there as well for the Pumpkin Patch. Really liked it. Got to watch USX up close for a few months as we were being phased out. Complete joke. I chose to not switch to USX and instead took the lay-off route. Looks like I made the right decision.
