Hi, dumb question, but has anyone had any success painting or otherwise "restoring" the heavy rubber mudflaps? Mine are in good working condition, but years of sun and acid washing have made them look dull and little white fibers show through. I want to fix up this old wagon a little, and will probably end up just buying new, but figured there must be someone out there as cheap as me.

Yes - I'm as cheap as you!!

I just took off my left hand side, painted it black over the "CFI Blind Spot", scratched the hanger up and repainted it, and put it back together with some anti-sieze. Looks OK.

I think flaps are only $15 or so, but I had an hour spare and a can of spray paint, which makes me dangerous.

    Cetane+ and mickcuster Thank this.
