Sears and Roebuck use to be a great department store. But I'm sure they will be done by the 3 quarter of 2018. I will find everystore that's going out of business and buy up discounted craftsman tools before then

Good luck. Last time I was in a Sears (like 18 months ago) all they had for tools was a 1/4" drive socket set, some screwdrivers and some socket trays. Took up less than half a shelf. No idea who will be the dealer for them once Sears goes T.U.

It’s sad. Sears use to be great back when I was a kid... especially every year my family would get the big Christmas catalogs from the big chains... sears, jcpenney, Montgomery wards, Brand Names, etc. and there was the Craftsman stuff. I still have the medium bench top box with the MX stickers all over it(you know, Fox Racing, Answer, Renthal) from when I attended MMI.

Unfortunalty sears is barely hanging on by a thread now after the scumbag hedge fund manager took sears over, bought Kmart and ran both of those chains right into the ground.

Maybe a dumb question but who is Craftsmen Tools?

Is that a separate company that is just represented by Sears?

I couldn't care less about Sears but Craftsmen Tools is still
a good product. Great for weekend people who don't want to
    pay for the "professional brands".

Is there any chance that line could somehow survive? Our
local hardware store handles Craftsmen Tools, not affiliated
    with Sears I don't think.
