Most employers require "x" amount of driving time in the last 3 years. Insurance purposes.

I wonder if the insurance company requires the driver go back to school or only that the carrier makes sure the driver is properly retrained per the carriers training program. Remember all new school grads have to go through the training program and they have zero experience in class A vehicles. In every case it is apparent that all carriers must have an insurance company approved training program.

Some companies bend their own hiring rules. I think it depends on how good the applicant looks on paper.
I'd also apply with Freymiller and Abilene Motor Express. May Trucking also bends their own rules and seems to be an ok company.

Saw an advertisement for Prime that read something like haven't driven in a few years, ask about our refresher course.
So you could ask them about their refresher course. Prime is known for longgggg training periods though. Probably not gonna be any quicker honestly.Falcon86a Thanks this. -
You will be evaluated during the entire orientation. If you need retrained you will be.
