If you've been in the trucking business any time at all you should know why everybody is getting pissed off.
You're asking them to deal you into the game and give you a few good hands to start with. It doesn't work like that.
I don't share my rate structure with my competitors and I don't ask them for theirs.
Rates, especially OTR rgn loads are totally dependent on what you can haul for and still make a profit.
To the best of my knowledge there are no "set rates" anywhere except for in-house local work with a repetitive customer base.
What I charge for my five axle running short regional and local wouldn't even cover the permit charges for a OTR mega-load.
If you want to just haul legal rgn loads your costs should be dead simple to discover. Other people have done it. You can too.
Figure out your costs. Figure them for every potential area you want to haul in.

Eerbody just a bit pissy about the freight decline. A buck seventy five is the goin rate for RGN, crost country, regional, etc.
