Here is a article today that informs you about the rise of the new Jammers that are totally illegal but indefensible. Hundreds appear to pop up in the USA each day.
Unfortunatly for you Truckers, the Motor Carriers Association and other Industry professionals now recognize that Truckers are using Jammers to hide from the Boss and cut down on the electronic reporting and possibly real time video going back to Dispatch. Poof. A black Hole hiding your rig and then in some cases Jamming a few hundred yards around with the right kit.
Diamond Couriers are being hit too. Thugs too stupid to understand Jamming apparently pushed a button on a garage door opener with huge amp on it similar to our over powered radio and cause the courier to fail to lock his vehicle filled with diamonds and jewlery.
Im not laughing now that unmarked Satellite tracked trailers and tractors are being intercepted, jammed and then captured for the load of narcotics they haul for such places as McKesson of Memphis. I say it's Personal now see?
You laugh now, get it out of your system. I did. Then read this...

Was expecting a thread about "grind it till you find it".
That said, the only recording equipment I'd want in the cab is my own, and I control what it sees and what video is seen by others (I hope to get a GoPro soon for some driving videos, both my perspective and other perspectives). GPS isn't an issue for me, but watching me drive is another. The company should trust me to do my job like a professional and not babysit. -
I was thinking the boneheads that hold the pedal on the floor .

When you are pulling loaded B-trains into the wind to accelerate, it's kind of unavoidable.

Gotta watch that oil temp though. -
I'm the one who would back out of it and let you by .

I wouldn't be passing unless you are doing more than 10mph less than the speed limit but you are a better driver than most. I wish there were more professionals like you around here. If I'm in a hurry, I'm doing 105 km/h (governed max) on the highway, and I can't count the number of times I go out to pass a truck doing 98-100 km/h and they speed up as I pull out. Absolutely shameful.
Passed a four-wheeler a couple weeks ago doing 80 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on a two-lane highway running 130,000 gross. Didn't think she'd have the juice to do it, but she roared to life when the hammer hit the floor and she went. Surprised me. Shocked me even. Must have had a tail wind. Lol. -
Lmao ...my truck isn't governed but I'm less stressed at the end of the day goin slow .
Coming down thru the construction on 35 in Texas today had a guy pullin a camper in front of me running 50 in a 60 zone .
I just kept my distance and followed him ...wasn't worth the hassle.Shadowz81, OLDSKOOLERnWV, Dye Guardian and 6 others Thank this. -
I do apologize gentlemen for a poor title choice.
I guess I can write about gear grinding. It would generate more interest I imagine.
If I understand the Word of God, Im like the one who tries to help those who do not have a clue to actually learn something tonight and have a clue as to what's coming. I think for many, it's easier to laugh it off and dismiss the work that has been done as fantasy or alarmist.
This industry can use some more participation with more positive outcomes rather than allowing communications to disgentrate into silence or worse, flame wars. Judging by the number of newbies coming in It would be easier to focus on them and teach them before the trolls get a hold and ruin this place for them.
The trains are running really heavy tonight using both sides of the main. My computer screen is showing motion as transmitted by them in the ground once again as it did in 2003 prior to the Gulf Invasion. I hesitate to think that we might actually be at war again this time in the Ukraine, someone thinks so. -
Good article. I'm not surprised though. A few years ago I was watching on some national news show about how criminals are using devices to copy a key fobs frequency and code for high end vehicles. Of course with the introduction of keyless entry and operation its like a car thief's wet dream for keyless start/entry.

Sometimes my phone loses connection, I can tell because the Bluetooth will sound a tone every so many seconds indicating the phone is roaming or in an 'extended area' even though I can see 3 big cell phone towers. I am guessing I might be running alongside or very near another vehicle who is running a cell phone jammer?
