Yes but ... they are very very heavy and they are really really beautiful and they seem to make you think you are more cool and special than other drivers and they pay me money every single month so you should buy them - Kevin Rutherford

I also learned about them by listening to his show. He was saying that the ride felt so much different....evidently hard to describe exactly in words...I guess, one has to experience that on his own. Another thing, which once influenced my attention similarly, was the Bose seat....$5K (?)...well I even gave it some consideration...But has anyone tried the seat and was it really so magical?
Anyway, the Keto diet is the closest something I could try and better soon..I ate too many donuts over the winter. $29 for the program...not much to lose.

    Lol - sucker! :)

Anything is better than nothing when it comes to health - soldier on and good luck with it, whatever you try.

Note - Bose stopped production of that seat.

I liked the sound of it.

    Folks scream at $350 for a coil over damper shock . . . it was a hard sell for a $5000 seat . . .

And I should be honest here, I spent close to $7k on RK shocks front, SR shocks rear, 2 new seats, 4 air bags on the drive, and replaced the existing Donvel air bags on the front end.

    So it should ride well.

But given the tremendous physical strain this job puts on the body, why not invest in health ?

Kevin Rutherford sells lots of products and services. What will he not sell ? He wont sell freight. He wont move freight. He will not touch it with a 10 foot pole. Ever wonder why ? He had one of the easiest most profitable transport operations available and he sold it and got rid of it. Why will he not do the 1 thing he gives everyone else advice on ?

Wonder if any of his followers ever think about that ?

I did about...2 years ago when a caller asked him "Kevin, when was the last time you tried to book a load?". In a nutshell, his answer was that it did not matter. It did raise my eyebrows quite a bit.
Still like his show...great time killer. Seriously, knowing your numbers and providing quality service to the customers are the best things to remember from his show.
He has mastered his salesmanship craft... Good for him.

    The price is beyond insane.

I would consider trying if it wasn't stupid pricing.

Pretty much all shocks are undersized for big trucks. My ride starts to deteriorate after about 60k miles.

Shocks are super cheap and you love in the trunk... Just replace as a wear item. No big deal. I get mine at about $45/ea.
Been using Gabriel , they seem to ride the best. I prefer the blue gas charged ones.

If the truck listed in your signature is yours, then I wouldn't even consider it. In fact most newer suspensions probably wouldn't benefit from them.

But a 2001 KW T2000 - and the '95 Pete ? Sure did need something extra on the front.

I think they are basically a coil over oil damper shock - nothing new, probably fairly familiar to any off road racer - I remember them on the little Tamiya RC cars when I was a kid.

Exactly why nobody else employs the same technology in the Class 8 truck world . . . I'm not sure. They could probably do with some competition.
