God I love all the perfect truckers we have here on TTR who have never made mistakes or can't possibly believe drivers actually learn from them.

Ive been fired so many times for standing tall on the laws and also on the other side of it as well. It does not matter except in situations where you can sink a knife into the employer who fired you for wrong reasons for which you can nail him to the door.bzinger and stayinback Thank this. -

I think it's been pretty well hashed out here - my thought was the 'brake checker' was possibly a trucker - past or present - in the 4 wheeler. Most other road users these days are blissfully distracted by devices and don't get involved in these games.
I won't preach - I've been THAT guy before to some degree. I think the OP has probably figured the best course of action for next time - just go with the flow. The less lane changes the better. I'd advise against following another truck at any distance in traffic, as I like to see WAY down the road for stopped/slowing traffic.Lostkeys Thanks this. -
May have been you. I dont remember anymore. I think it is right on though. I agree with what you said. Oh I've had my moments too. I wont judge either.
I should have clarified that I was referring to the guy that brake checked sni to teach him a lesson.blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
It isn't just commercial drivers, it's everyone.
Driving my pickup truck through town, and everyone is in a hurry to get to the red light before me. I see the light turn red an 8th of a mile ahead of me, so I go ahead and coast to the light, saving on brakes and gas, and everyone feels the need to hit the gas and go around me just so they can stop before me. I just look at them like they're nuts, which they are. It's people like these that one day we'll have self-driving vehicles, like that movie Demolition Man with Sylvester Stallone and Sandra Bullock.bzinger Thanks this.
