I just finished ROEHL's week 1 of gycdl and I'm fairly certain with the training I will either fail the cdl test or get on the road and kill someone.
The program is 4 weeks. If I feel way after week one should I go home and go to a private school?
NTTS is near me and accepts financial aid.
I went with ROEHL because you were an employee from day 1. I feel like the decision I made was wrong.

Will Roehl bill you for the portion of the school you've completed?

    FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

Maybe weeks 2-4 will improve. You said it yourself, it’s a 4 week training, not 1 week.

Stick it out; after your contract you can go about anywhere you want.
Set a goal for after the contract.
Which state do you live in? We can give you names of companies that will be good after Roehl.

    tscottme and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

People get their cdl from there every week. What aren’t you liking about it?

    FlaSwampRat Thanks this.

I'm guessing you have no experience prior to this school. That being said I would stick it out. No matter who you choose for schooling driving a 70' long vehicle that atriculates (<- think I spelled that wrong) in the middle isn't gonna feel like the f150 you are used to. Just remember to take your time, you will be okay. Get you miles in with them to be free of your contract and then @Chinatown will set you up with better job options.

That on day 3 after only doing straight line backing 4 times I'm not 100% correct on it so I'm not meeting program expectations. And 4 students to 1 instructor is to high
