Hello everyone. I wanted to first start off by introducing myself. My name is Nick. I am 25 years old from Cincinnati, Ohio. I worked in law enforcement for the past 4 years. I wasn't able to find a full-time police position. I take very expensive medication that I need for life, which is why I need a full-time job with benefits.. I am single with no kids. I am on my parents medical plan until May 2016.
I don't know much about trucking driving to be honest. Could someone enlighten me on the lifestyle? Is Roehl Transport an okay place to start? Tips would be awesome as well. Thanks!!

Roehl is ok, but look at Millis Transfer in Trenton,OH
Millis is good company with good paychecks. Around $50K + per year. -
I've been driving with Roehl for 3 years. I am really happy with them. They have van, reefer, curtain side, and flatbed. The pay is very good and you also have the opportunity to get up to an extra $0.05 per mile for meeting very obtainable goals. Everything is electronic and done through their online application for your smartphone. They have won many awards for the way they treat their drivers. With every company you hear both good and bad... but it is also how well you are willing to communicate with your fleet manager. Good luck and I hope you do decide to join our company. If you remember tell them truck 5297 sent you!
FLYMIKEXL Thanks this. -
Schneider is good. They run out of Washington Court House and Cbus. Clark State Community College has a great program for schooling. That has been my path so far anyways. I would verify your meds allow you to handle equipment before getting invested. Good luck!
