I helped on that account years ago when I drove for Knight. One time I did about 8 stops in Houston and a few times I did some loads up to DFW. I really enjoyed the work and knocked it out of the ballpark in turnaround time back to San Antonio. They told me to apply anytime but the 280 mile one way commute every week wouldn't quite work for me. Great job and I'd recommend it to anyone who isn't afraid of some hard work for fair pay and happens to live a reasonable distance from the JC factory.

Its defently more work than im used to. Its good excersize. I may not like it as much during the summer bc of the heat but they make good money doing it so i will be here for awhile. Wish i would have came here sooner though.

I had my road test today and passed with flying colors. I have to go in tomorrow and do some paperwork and he said I might go out with Will on Wednesday.

Couldnt make it to laredo b4 they closed so i went back to the plant. Made $475 on that run. Off til mon. My drive axles were little loose and it put truck way out of alignment so they are putting me in a temp truck. I got a 13 stop starting in cushon ok. Up to stillwater the okc then work my way down to bowie and decatur tx.

What makes this job hard if you have an electric pallet jack?

Can't speak for him but really just the returns. You leave with a trailer loaded in order of your stops. Get to the first stop, pull the pallets off, and load the recycle batteries from that stop that are going back. Get to the second stop, unload the recycles, unload your stop, load the recycles, and then the recycles from your first stop. You can kind of see where this is going. Not a big deal just time consuming.

    Dinomite Thanks this.
