What kind of rates do you get in the summer to and back from Alaska and during the winter and what's the longest run you have done from and to Alaska. Just curious about the cash and miles but what beast do you run under the hood.

Well I think it ain't a cat due to cali, but I could be wrong. These pics are really good and are making me wish I did these runs when I had the chance.

The truck has a 550hp Cummins ISX 15.

I mainly run between WA and AK and that is about a 4800mls round trip. Right now I am on my way back from Anchorage and I picked up a load of seed in Alberta and I am heading to Idaho with that load. Rates would be up to our brokerage to discuss and I usually have no idea what a load pays.

Maybe one day. Do you run looseleaf or electronic logs?

We are on paper logs, but I am trying out Eclipse's logging software right now. I really like the software, but it seems to have some clitches with the Canadian rules. It turns out a really nice looking log, but it sure would b nice if it would be correct too. I usually don't need any help messing my logs up. :biggrin_25525:

I saw this place in Alberta Canada. That is were all the Viking truck drivers go after they die on the job.

For the people who are not familiar with the Vikings. When a Viking died in battle he or she would go to Valhalla to be with Odin.
