    And thx all for the input on Dietz. After washout in Harrisburg, going to roll over there and try and beat Monday am Philly traffic. If it's a spot load and/or I can park there for a 10, no super-trucker magic needed.

    Why were you told never to come back? Surely it couldn't have been because you grew annoyed at Walmart's superior unloading times, and charming attitude from the ladies at the window. ;)

    On a side note anyone remember who we deliver to in Aurora, CO?

    It's because last winter I had ran overnight through snow and ice to get there on time and I was having a bad day, and tired, and just wanted to go sleep for a couple hours while they unloaded. They were wanting to take the truck keys during the unload and have me wait in the lounge and not the truck and I refused to play the game. Got kicked off the property and had to drop the load in OKC then go to the yard have a talk with management.

    Yeah I can sympathize with you. I don't particularly care for Walmart's treatment of drivers. If I wouldn't be doing a lot of sitting I'd turn down every Walmart or tyson load the planners offered.

    Yeah that makes no sense, taking the keys AND forcing you into the lounge. They say it's for safety but that's bs. North Platte, icy lot, they made us give up keys because we had to start attached. One driver came in and asked the clerk to tell the forklift driver to slow it down because him running into the trailer so fast was causing the truck and trailer to slide forward on the ice.

    She made fun of him after he left saying he just wanted his keys because he was cold and really sarcastically told the forklift driver to slow down.

    Take my keys? Sure here is my spare. Disconnect from trailer? Sure. Detach an airline and lock it? Knock yourself out. Sit in an uncomfortable chair for hours while you lollygag and take your sweet time unloading? No thanks. If pressed, I'll come up with some fantastical excuse that precludes me from sitting in drivers lounge purgatory..."Sorry ma'am/sir, my rechargeable neural slumber apparatus is low on power, and the only charger I have is in my truck"
