He did say they were talking about maybe putting cameras in the trucks.

 

Couldn't get excited about cameras as I already have a dashcam. There was a quick mention of trailer leasing maybe? But I didn't hear it as I was listening to yacht rock for a moment.

 

Not in my truck. If they want to pay me a lease fee for a spot on my windshield maybe. I think ill charge 1.00 a mile to lease that part of my windshield.

If there was any truth to this I would be all over it. Yes live load and unload suck, but constantly taking trailers in for repairs and tires is really aggravating. Swapped with a solo earlier at a Petro only to put trailer in shop with broken airline. The other driver never saw that obvious problem that I found immediately.

 

Shouldn't have swapped. Never allow someone to give you a problem.

 

I was talked into taking it when i spoke with his dispatcher. Got a bit of extra pay for doing so. Still aggravating that drivers are missing or ignoring these issues.

 

So you allowed yourself to be man handled.
