It is probably a matter of relativity!!!! So many run until their needle is at or near E then it is time to fill up. For those simpletons the fuel route could be a huge help.

My guess is there is a huge influx of former company drivers leasing onto JCT who are used to being told where, when and how much to fuel. Can't get mad at 'em, let them run their show you run yours is all.
@Steel Tiger just confirming the APU does recharge and maintain the batteries, to do this I would make sure the APU is on and set for Auto, correct? -
I love when I forget the safety bonus is coming. Its a happy surprise to open the settlement and it to be 700 bucks more then my spreadsheet says it should be lol
MachoCyclone Thanks this. -
So long as nothing is blowing from vents, and the display is on, that's the battery protect mode.scottied67 Thanks this. -
So i get loaded at interchange in harrisonburg, va. Got there an hour early and was loaded by my appt time. Too good to be true. Look in the back and the last pallets are maby 4 feet from the door with total product weight at 43000 lbs. Go scale with tandems at max legal for my route (41' kingpin to axle), 2000 over on trailer 1500 under gross. Go back to shipper to get it reworked and get a call from dispatch "#####ing" about why i sent in a loaded call b4 scaling. Told him i never heard of that policy and maby they should give us a driver handbook with the policies. Was already miffed cuz he said well your not going to california so cant you just slide it legal... smh. As if California is the only state with a kingpin law. Getting more and more annoyed with brandon.
MachoCyclone and crxdc Thank this. -
Ahh yes I had that call a few weeks ago. When I was in training They said when your loaded send loaded call. Now its when you leave send in leaving shipper then drive to scale if legal then send is loaded call. Seems they make some changes and don't let us know.
MachoCyclone and scottied67 Thank this. -
Training??? Thought u been here a while or did u leave for a bit and come back like me?

I learned about loaded call on 1st trip 1st week here. Similar story to yours. But it was the guy who dispatches new guys and he was pretty cool about it. Safety bonus was nice surprise today as it will give me drink money on cruise coming up in 3 weeks.
