Question.....does anyone have any experience or knowledge about Microsoft Access. It is part of the Microsoft Office bundle. It's kinda like Excel, but it's a data entry program.
I'm gonna TRY (key word there) to create a program similar to my spreadsheets where you just enter data and it goes to a summary sheet and keeps running totals (for yearly, quarterly, monthly, etc) totals.
Instead of having 52 different sheets or what not, it'll be just one where you can see or print totals at the touch of a button. It will contain much more than just trip info. It'll keep track of all expenses, (business & personal) fuel, DEF, tolls maintenance.....everything fire end of the year tax purposes. I'm going to model it off my current trucking accounting program that unfortunately won't run on Windows 7 or greater.
Great way to summarize the year ad's have everything available at the touch if a button. -
I've got intermediate knowledge, meaning I've set up databases in it along with entry forms and designed reports for output for billing.
There are allot of templates provided by Microsoft that you could probably add on to to get it to do what you want. That's how I made allot of mine when I was a consultant.
Personally I've been using let's truck's profit gauges package and keying in all my stuff.Steel Tiger Thanks this. -

I'm liking having a full matching set of the Xone Energy drive tires. 43000lbs in the box from Tulsa to Phoenix and the QC says 8.2mpg. Usually with that weight the QC will say around 7.5 to 7.7mpg. So, I should start to see my average slowly go up from 7.56mpg.
Steel Tiger Thanks this. -
Found this app called Everdrive. It's suppose to score your driving. Looked interesting so I figured I'd give it a try. I'm on there with the same user name as here.
Even has leaderboards (sorted by state), achievements and you can send friend request and see who can get the better scores.Last edited: Nov 15, 2016
