I'll say if they paid drivers lumper rates for unloading, I'd for sure get myself in shape to unload every load. I've had 1000 dollars in one week in lumper unload fees when I have back to back multi loads. Would make my settlement oh so nice.

    OOF. Noel Tyson...

Stevens truck went over the live chicken scale on the other side. Lost two trailer tires and rims on two axles when he turned off of it. Folded those rims like a crab Rangoon.

Oops. I can see how that happened though. The truck entrance sign is placed in a weird spot. So, unless you've been there before and know better (and not paying attention because a quick look to the left and you will see the entrance you are suppose to use) you will end it up on the wrong side. You would also think that th chicken trailers that are usually parked there would be a clue also.

Actually no. His tires were busted on the passenger side. Instead of turning left after the guard shack to turn around where they load the trailers he turned right and then turn right onto the live chicken scale and pop his tires on that Corner pipe by the scale.

    MachoCyclone Thanks this.

I'll clarify because I explained it wrong. He came in correctly and got on this correct scale. Then he turned right instead of turning left to go to the trailer loading area to turn around. Then he tried turning right again to get on the chicken scale to leave and busted his tires on the passenger side of his trailer on that corner pipe by the scale entrance.

Then he backed off the scale further into the plant then turned right towards the guard shack to leave to the correct entrance.

I thought it was weird because when I came in after I scaled he was sitting on the opposite side that trucks normally sit on and when I did my turn around and came back he was pulled forward in the correct area with two of his tires off bead and sideways.

Lol. He had busted tires coming his way once he did that. Should have just backed up. He would have looked like a dummy, but better that than a fool. Also, if didn't know, all he had to do was ask the guard. They are friendly (the times I've been there) and will tell you where to turn around.
