Running with JCT, Part Deux

I'm not here to sell you on TK or CP. I'm here to help. When you are getting lousy service and basically paying for a boat anchor the only one who is getting the shaft Is the driver who has to be out of pocket. (also this out of work tech who also feels he got a little bit of the shaft, but that's another story)

 

And I'm sure those that have the CP appreciate it. Thanks for your input as you didn't have to volunteer your time and information on here.

 

We could go back and forth on specs, pros, cons, yada yada. If you don't mind me taking up space here.

 

No problem. Of course I may have my own reasons for being here. But I'm always looking to help. Truth be told I wouldn't mind being my own boss. Granted I am no longer part of a dealership, (warranty work yada) I do feel that my quality of workmanship/ customer service exceeds what you might find out there. (True I have no personal experiences from these other shops, but I do know I've ran across a lot of units/drivers that have horror stories about what the previous techs have done.) And it blows my mind that this kind of workmanship goes on.
I don't know all the drivers personally and I'm sure some could also say they've had a bad experience with me. (Caught me on an overworked under helped day and wasn't my charming self) but to be honest I've made some good friends simply for the fact I didn't BS them and actually helped fix an on going problem that no one else could pin point, not sure they are on the board but I guarantee you that they personally wouldn't let anyone else touch their Apu including regular services but me.

Sorry about the confusing jumbled mess. Short story. Anyone looking for someone to improve on their truck by fixing Install errors/ lack of HVAC efficiency can come seek me out.

 

Anyone ever pickup from DG Foods in Bastrop, La? The preplan came to me already a day late for pickup and will be two days late for pickup by the time I get to it. But, will still be able to make OTD in Altus, Ok. Which I know is Bar S Foods.

 

If it's anything like the DG Foods in Hazlehurst, MS, it'll be a drop and hook on both ends. If they are closed, BOL should be on the trailer

 

So no results from turning off the comfort monitor??

 

Talking about me? No. Comfort monitor off yields the same lukewarm temps.

 

Have you changed your filters? Just a thought.

 

Yeah when I had my TK in the 14, I could run George foreman or my Omolette maker on the inverter with the APU running. Or just using them would trip the battery monitor and make the APU run.

Whats funny is the CP puts out clean enough power to run my laptop charger. The TK inverter would never charge it.
