Well, finally got a door and while waiting to be unloaded, there was a loud popping sound. Three of the four drivers (including me) came out of the sleeper looked around and all of us got out and everyone heard it. We agreed that it was either a tire or an airbag popping. We checked our trucks and trailers and found nothing. The fourth guy finally came out because he saw us walking around. He checked his truck and trailer and found that an airbag popped on his tractor.

That's why I hate having my tandems back for delivery...I mean I'm already nearly 33500 with tandems forward. Slide them back and have a forklift running around in there and it's over limit for the axles...I'm always tempted to drop the landing gear and dump the bags.

Dropping the landing gear and dumping the bags is a good idea but if a bag is gonna blow it's gonna blow. If it hadn't blown at the dock it could've blow the next big bump he hits.

I just dodged a Christmas bullet. Realized I had forgotten to order my wife gift. Thank God for two day shipping and gift wrapping on Amazon.

Bar S gets better and better. The so called drop and hook in Elk City just turned into a live load and won't be ready until sometime after 830 tonight. Three and half months of pickups and delivers running smooth and figures the loads to get me home turns to #### just trying to pickup and deliver.

I ran into the same problem when i did that load last month.....the empty I was supposed to get was still loaded and they weren't gonna unload it till the next day. Spoke to Betty and convinced her to let me drop it and bobtail to my next pick up in Elk City.

Ever get a really good price on fuel then go look at the fuel in your tank after you pump it in and start thinking to yourself...

Got a pp on Sunday to get me home for the holidays.

Unloaded Monday a.m. in New Jersey and was able to limp it to my pick up a couple miles down the road. Pick up date was Tuesday. Tried to get loaded Monday. Checked in, told them I was SUPER early and asked for some holiday spirit and load me early. Told me to put it in a door. Kewl

A few minutes later, shipper walks out and sez he has no load for Florida today. I reminded him that I was a day early. No go....won't get paperwork till Tuesday. ####.

Sat here all day Monday. Only good thing is I got a 34 out of it....like I need it for a 1200 mile load home for Friday. SMH

Guess it could be worse, at least I have a load home. Some guys aren't gonna make it home on time for the holidays.
